Living in an “Eat-Out” city like New York certainly has its benefits: Tons of different cuisine, delivery and take-out at nearly any hour, and we have access to some of the best chefs in the world. But these amenities come at a price, and an occasionally costly one at that.
Well despite my “dollar and a dream,” the lottery has yet to pull through for me and I, like many New Yorkers, try to eat well while on a budget. Born out of these frugal shopping habits, “On the Cheap” is our new section of posts dedicated to different, simple recipes you can make at home at very reasonable prices:
